This years walk will be on Sunday
10th April, and will be starting from the Chedworth Farm Shop and Cafe. We are
aiming to do a ‘figure of eight’ walk, starting from the Farm Shop Cafe, returning
there for lunch, and doing another circular route in the afternoon. Please arrive in
good time for a 10:00 am start (09:30 would be good!), leaving enough time for us to
collect details of what everyone would like for lunch, so that we can give the cafe
advance notice. They would particularly like to know if anyone would like the
‘Sunday Roast’ that should be on the menu that day. To get an idea of the food

Please note that, if using a ‘SatNav’ and entering the postcode,
it will probably take you to a point about half a mile west of the farm! If so,
travel eastwards from there along Field Road, and the farm shop will be on your
right.
There is quite a bit of parking space available, but so as not to inconvenience
other customers, please park as far away from the shop entrance as possible (on the
grass if dry). Thank you.

ADVANCE NOTICE - Weekend away, 2012:
Our 2012 ‘bunkhouse’ weekend away is planned for 11th – 13th May 2012 (Friday
night until Sunday afternoon). For this we have booked a new location for us, the
David Donald Field Studies Base, Worth Matravers, Isle of Purbeck, Dorset.
There is a fixed price for this centre, regardless of numbers, so the more people we
get, the cheaper it will be! (The cost will be around £25 for the 2 nights
(£12.50/night), plus food, if we fill it, or £40 (£20.00/night) plus food if there
are only 15 of us – maximum capacity is 24). More information from Colin Maher
